How to Make Work Shift

Overview

Work Shifts define the working hours for employees in your organization. By creating work shifts in WeekMate HRMS, you can standardize office timings, manage attendance accurately, and assign employees to schedules that match their roles or locations.

This guide explains how to create a new work shift in the WeekMate HRMS admin portal.

Before You Begin

Before creating a work shift, make sure:

  • You are logged in to your WeekMate HRMS account.
  • You have permission to manage attendance and shift settings.
  • The shift timings and working hours have been finalized according to your organization's policy.

Steps

  1. Log in to your WeekMate HRMS account.
  2. Navigate to the Attendance module.
  3. Open the Work Shift section.
  4. Click Add Work Shift.
  5. Enter the name of the work shift.
  6. Configure the shift timings, including the start time and end time.
  7. Set additional options such as working hours, break time, grace period, or other shift settings, if applicable.
  8. Review the shift configuration.
  9. Click Save to create the work shift.

The work shift will be created successfully and will be available to assign to employees.
